Lori is a Certified MUTU System Pro with extensive knowledge of incorporating a SAFE return to movement following your birth.

Small, intimate class sizes to allow for plenty of space between mats.

Mom and Baby Yoga begins with our supportive Opening Circle to share, connect, and learn from and with other new parents.

Our postnatal classes offer a mix of strengthening and restorative movements purposefully designed with mom as the focal point.  Each class includes a strong focus on relieving the common discomforts in the new mama body as well as core and pelvic floor recovery.

We will include the babies through class. Poses done with baby allow plenty of opportunity for bonding and connecting along the way. This class will give moms the opportunity to take care of themselves while enjoying the company of their little one and other new parents.

During class, babies will laugh and cry, fuss and fidget. Normal and perfectly fine! If baby needs to be fed or changed during class, no problem! You will notice during class that every baby will do the same! Simply stop and attend to your baby’s needs at any point and rejoin the practice when you are able to.

This class is best suited to babies aged 6 weeks to actively crawling.

Our Healthy Core and Pelvic Floor class approaches healing the body as an entire system, returning our body to proper health and function.

We will emphasize the proper use of core and pelvic floor using a unique, challenging, and SAFE method of postpartum yoga movement that will increase agility in your everyday movements.

The main emphasis will be to balance all muscle groups with strength and flexibility to help you feel centered and at ease with your new baby while relieving the common discomforts in the new parent body.

For those looking to add additional classes to their weekly routine, we also have a Video On Demand program available.  In addition to full length classes, we also have express classes between 10-25 minutes in length to fit into your busy schedule.

For those who prefer to practice at home with baby, our Live Stream + Virtual classes via Zoom are a fantastic alternative.

Class sizes are kept intentionally small to foster connection with other new parents in your session.

Just as we do in-studio, virtual classes begin with our supportive Opening Circle to share, connect and educate ourselves about postpartum recovery and parenting.

During class, babies will laugh and cry, fuss and fidget. Normal and perfectly fine! If baby needs to be fed or changed during class, no problem! You will notice during class that every baby will do the same! Simply stop and attend to your baby’s needs at any point and rejoin the practice when you are able to.

 Testimonials

I look forward to virtual mom and baby yoga each week! Not only is it a great way to start each Saturday, but I am feeling physical improvements as well. I felt very weak after giving birth and am happy to learn new positions each week that encourage the healing and strengthening of my core. The community is especially helpful as we are all going through similar experiences. If you are looking for a community that supports you and interested in moving your body more, I would highly recommend making mom and baby yoga a part of your wellness routine!

I took prenatal yoga with Lori prior to giving birth to my daughter. One of the silver linings of this time of social isolation has been the opportunity to take virtual Mom and Baby Yoga! The in person studio was just far enough away that the thought of planning out naps, feedings, and the drive was overwhelming with a newborn. Now, I can go to my basement "studio" for virtual yoga and my daughter can join us after a nap or feeding if the timing isn't right. I love seeing familiar faces from prenatal yoga and meeting new families too. I have previously done YouTube yoga but having a live class to join at home is great. Especially during these challenging times, it is wonderful to be able to connect with Lori and other moms who are experiencing similar things. I highly recommend Earthside Yoga!

I took prenatal yoga with Lori for most of my pregnancy. It was such an instrumental part of my journey. I had no idea how much I needed that support and community until I took that glass. It was an amazing experience. I am currently doing mom and baby yoga via zoom. I have very much enjoyed connecting with other mammas during these uncertain times. The experience with zoom has been great! I am so glad Lori found a way to keep class going even though we cannot be in the same space.
